Funding:

In the spring of 2001, the Canada Mortgage Housing Corporation, the Nickle Family Foundation, the Motz Foundation and Health Canada combined with the Lloydminster Interval Home's own fundraising initiatives provided the funding necessary to purchase and renovate an existing apartment building to be used for Second Stage Housing.

The name "Dol-Mar" Manor was chosen to honor and recognize the 2 women, Marj Nattress and Dolores Cummine who were instrumental in starting the Lloydminster Interval Home, a 21 bed emergency shelter, in 1980.

Dol-Mar Manor is not a government funded facility and graciously accepts cash donations or donations of household items that could be used by the families.
